Long post and lots of photos.

Yesterday afternoon a group of 85 ladies and 2 men were lucky enough to be entertained in our small town by the singing quilter Cathy Miller and her husband John. Cathy is a very talented singer/song writer as well as quilter and teacher.

Everyone ready and anxiously waiting for the start and some not knowing what to expect as not all were quilters.

What a wonderful afternoon it was

as Cathy and John sang their delightful songs, mostly about quilting. Cathy showed us her gorgeous quilts and told the story about each song. Some were funny and some a little sad.

Over 3000 1/2 inch Hexagons Cathy stitched together on her travels around the world. Just Amazing.
As I sat and listened and looked around the room I could not help but feel a little sad. Sue, who had organised it all had had a turn in the morning and could not be there.
Pleased you are home Sue and feeling better.
